Our aim
We want the Vertex Skylights Milton Keynes website to work for as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, magnification, voice control or a keyboard rather than a mouse. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we have built in
- Headings in a logical order, so screen reader users can move through each page.
- Text colours chosen for readable contrast against their backgrounds.
- Links and buttons you can reach and use from the keyboard, with a visible focus mark.
- Descriptive text for the images that carry meaning.
- Tables that stack on a small screen instead of scrolling sideways.
- Text that resizes with your browser settings.
Known limits
Some parts are supplied by other companies. The enquiry form and the map on our contact page may fall short of some accessibility standards, so if either gives you trouble, phone us on 01908 596268 and we will take your enquiry directly. Asking for another format
If you would like information about a skylight or rooflight in a different form, such as large print or a plain text summary, tell us what you need and we will do our best to provide it.
Reporting a problem
If you find something hard to use, please tell us. We have no public premises, so contact us by email or WhatsApp using the details above. Say which page and what happened, and we will reply within five working days and work on a fix.

If you feel we have not answered your accessibility concern properly, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service at gov.uk. Our complaints procedure is also open to you.
